Due to its high alcohol content, barley wine has always been reserved for special occasions. At the TYRELL Brewing Art Studio, we use specially selected caramel malts for our barley wine, which are roasted specifically for this beer style at the malt house. We emphasize a pronounced bitterness that balances the malty sweetness.
