Enjoy and celebrate together!

And this is with beers that continue to mature in the bottle and develop in exciting ways over the years. A must-have for your own beer cellar.
As the only brewery in Germany, we focus exclusively on beers that can be aged. In doing so, we are venturing into a genre that is still unknown to many people.
The motivation for this developed over many years that I, Thomas Tyrell, spent in the world of brewing. The desire to create that special brew that guides a menu matured over time – just like a good beer.

The special moment

Do you know that feeling: A person who means a lot to you and means well is visiting, and you want to celebrate the moment with something special?

Do you know that feeling: You want to plan an evening and are looking for the "common" theme, the inspiration?

Do you know that feeling: You find a special bottle of wine in your cellar that you had long forgotten about?

Do you know that feeling: You're looking for a gift to enjoy that will also surprise you?

The menu concept

Each beer campaign from our Brewing Art Studio follows a menu concept that pairs perfectly with a well-composed sequence of dishes. This is based, firstly, on the wine-like alcohol content of our beers, which supports the aromatic development of the food. Secondly, the sequence of beers appeals to different taste sensations, which in turn inspire the food design.

Have fun enjoying yourself and celebrating!!!

TYRELL Kaiserweisse is a strong beer in the classic style of Berliner Weisse, made using sour fermentation. In its heyday, the 1920s, it was also known as Riesling or Champagne Weisse. Even then, it was a beer for special occasions, and now it's an indispensable part of our beer selection. A true classic.

Our Kaiserweisse is brewed using a method dating back to the 1920s. This involves a double fermentation with different cultures of yeast and lactic acid bacteria, which harmoniously create a wonderful taste experience of acidity, fruit, and malty notes. White wine and cider notes define this beer style.

Further maturation takes place in the bottles, following the tradition of the Sandweisse. This Berliner Weisse was buried in the Brandenburg sand and only drunk after years. How you treat your Kaiserweisse is, of course, entirely up to you.

The brewmaster always recommends buying two, one for immediate consumption and one for storage (or burying?).

TYRELL BARLEY WINE (or Barleywine) is a strong beer with a high tasting factor and a sweet, full, and simultaneously spicy mouthfeel. It is dominated by caramel and wood notes, paired with a rich bitterness, the aroma of ripe berries, and a fine acidity.

Following the success of our BARLEY WINE in 2020, this is a repeat offering for the 2021/2020 winter menu.

A barley wine is traditionally made from the first runnings (the core, so to speak) of a brew, as this has the necessary high original gravity to produce a beer with a wine-like alcohol content. The wort is then intensively evaporated. This results in dark colors and intense sweet caramel notes in the beer. Due to its high alcohol content, barley wine has always been reserved for special occasions. At the TYRELL Brewing Art Studio, we use specially selected caramel malts for our barley wine, which are roasted specifically for this beer style at the malt house. We emphasize a pronounced bitterness that balances the malty sweetness. Subsequent maturation in cognac casks rounds out this beer style with pleasant woody notes and a unique spiciness and mild acidity characteristic of this type of wood.

A pleasure for quiet moments, but also suitable as an accompaniment to an appealing meal.

Our KOKOSPORTER is brewed using traditional methods with intensely roasted malts. The beer's natural aroma is defined by a variety of roasted notes reminiscent of nuts, coffee, cocoa, and even fresh bread crust.

The addition of coconut, pecans, and coffee beans to the brew underscores and accentuates these qualities. They enhance the beer's natural aroma, while the hand-roasted coconut meat adds a light tropical touch. The beer is then matured on select woods, imparting a dry yet spicy note.

The basic recipe for this beer originated from the "Groundbreaking Collaboration Brew" by Stone Brewing Berlin and Maui Brewing Company from Hawaii. Who would have thought that a Hawaiian brewery provided the inspiration for this beer...
