SOMMERPAUSE

Bullhouse Brew Co.

We take a lighthearted approach to brewing world-class beer.
We believe that beer is exactly that: beer. It's great to drink something challenging and push the boundaries of beer. But at the end of the day, we remember what beer is really for. We firmly believe that beer brings people together, and we are passionate about the power of sitting down with friends or strangers, drinking a beer, and having a conversation.
We create top-quality, award-winning beer with a lighthearted, inclusive approach that's reflected in our ethos and attitude. We work with people we like and get along with, and we try to avoid transactional relationships. The beer industry can be a place for cliques. When you come to our pubs, we don't care if you don't know what a gueuze is. We're happy to explain it over a beer and share our passion, but we want you to feel included, no matter your age or where you come from.
Although we are an urban brewery today, we are proud of our heritage and where we came from under very difficult circumstances. At the heart of our logo is the fact that we are hop lovers. We love drinking fresh, hoppy beers, and we love brewing them. Hops are one of the areas in the industry that will endure long-term, as it's the only beer style that macrobreweries don't get right. The skull reflects our heritage, as the original Bullhouse was located on Greengraves Road, not far from the Kempe Stone, a Mesolithic burial chamber.
