Dukebergh's Craft Beer

"Our brewing project couldn't have started more perfectly: in a garage, as befits a start-up, and with a beer, as beer lovers would expect. So, in July 2018, we decided to brew our own beer. Not just any beer, but a craft beer. Because craft beers are special – passionately brewed with natural ingredients, diverse in flavor, and different from the mainstream."

We are Björn and Sebastian – two guys from Bergisch Gladbach-Schildgen. Björn is a full-time engineer and a specialist in engine technology. Sebastian holds a doctorate in linguistics and is an expert in corporate communications. We are not only friends for many years, but also share a passion for unique beers. We receive support from Steffi, Sebastian's wife. Steffi works in controlling and takes care of the finances.

We are of course
We use only high-quality, natural ingredients to brew our beers. Our malt is organic. We completely avoid artificial additives. We don't filter and therefore don't use any plastics to maintain clarity. We also don't use extracts, colorings, or pasteurize. This way, our beer remains what we believe it should be: a natural product. And you can taste the difference.

We are diverse
For Cologne residents, it's a given – everyone's different. The same goes for our beers. There are numerous beer styles that are less well-known or have been somewhat forgotten in this country. With our creations, we want to show just how diverse beer enjoyment can be. That's why we brew beers with character, beers that impress with their flavor and clearly stand out from the boring mainstream.

We are social
Those who take must also give. A fundamental principle of coexistence that we believe is right and firmly rooted in our DNA. Therefore, we support social projects in Bergisch Gladbach and the surrounding area with 10 percent of our net profit. We are a partner of the Odenthal-based association "Courageous Children," which, under the patronage of Reiner Calmund and Faisal Kawusi, cares for socially disadvantaged children.
