Dundalk Bay Brewery & Distillery was founded in 2015 and is a 100% Irish-owned, independent company established by Spectac International. Spectac International, the sister company, has over 30 years of experience creating bespoke breweries and distilleries for clients throughout Ireland, the UK, and beyond. Our brewing and distilling heritage dates back to the 18th century.

The idea for Dundalk Bay Brewery came about one day when the owners of Spectac International decided to take a leap into the unknown and build their own brewery and distillery business in Ireland, to create for themselves what they have been doing for many international customers for decades.

With our state-of-the-art facilities equipped with robust technologies, we continue to meet market demands for our authentic, high-quality Irish spirits and handcrafted beers. We produce exclusive premium beers and spirits for some of Ireland's largest retailers and spirits distributors. Our products can also be purchased directly through our online shop.

Our brewery is a state-of-the-art, fully automated 50-hectoliter brewing system with a PLC (programmable logic controller) that can be controlled via an iPhone. We use a unique, batch-based recipe technology for each brewing process, minimizing losses and precisely and effectively controlling recipe solutions.

Our facility is equipped with robust technologies and systems, including

- Dual function for filling cans and bottles for all packaging sizes

- Dealcoholization plant to remove alcohol from all types of beer without affecting the taste

- Automated keg filling and filtration systems

- Automated recipe control

- Tunnel pasteurization, nitrogen system for nitro beers and much more

We are the only brewery of our kind in Ireland to have such high-tech, recipe-driven processes. We can brew 24/7 and achieve a capacity of 5,000 liters in a single brewing process that takes only three hours.
