Widowmaker Brewing

Widowmaker began as a passionate homebrew project by friends Ryan Lavery and Colin Foley. In 2016, Ryan and Colin decided it was time to make Widowmaker more than just beers they brewed for friends and family.

in the company.

At opening, Widowmaker had a fermentation capacity of 35 BBLs, and in our first year, we produced just under 300 BBLs. Since opening, we've grown and currently have a fermentation capacity of 405 BBLs and are on track to reach almost 5,000 BBLs in 2023. We are very fortunate to have an outstanding production team, currently led by Chris Hogan, Head of Brewery Operations, who consistently produce great beer and improve with every batch we brew. We are proud of the awards the production team has received.
Awards that the production team has received in our Braintree taproom include our World Beer Cup Silver Award for our flagship beer Blue Comet.
